Over the years, our community of generous donors have made the following possible!

1950

A 40-bed short-term hospital was built in Redfield. The hospital had 8 bassinets, laboratory & x-ray diagnostic services, and treated both medical & surgical patients.

1967-1968

An addition to the hospital increased bed capacity to 44 and included considerable remodeling to address the needs of a growing community.

1972

Ambulance service was added to advance rural health care of our communities.

1997

The Redfield CMHC Foundation raised more than $750,000 to create fiscal resources and to purchase equipment needed by the hospital.

1991

A medical clinic was added to the hospital, decreasing bed capacity to 25.

2009

The Foundation raised more than $250,000 towards furnishing the hospital's $6.2 million expansion and renovation.

2009

Donations helped fund a 17,000 sq. ft. CMH expansion, including - 13 inpatient rooms, 2 cardiac care rooms, 2 ERs, a pharmacy, patient registration, and a new ER entrance.

2009

Funds were given for 9,500 sq. ft of space renovations - OR, recovery, ambulatory surgery, visiting specialist, outpatient care, bone density scan, & ultrasound.
